Collaborating with master craftspeople who preserve Istanbul’s centuries-old artisan tradition, founder and designer Çiğdem Paçal experienced the artistry and meticulous handwork passed down through generations. Observing the delicate balance between tradition and innovation became the foundation of PACAL’s creation.
Guided by a deep fascination with the functional and mechanical nature of materials, she carefully selects each element and technique to serve both form and purpose. Çiğdem Paçal, founder and designer of PACAL, brings her lifelong fascination with geometry and architecture into every design she creates.
After earning her degree in Visual Communication Design at Sabancı University, she continued her studies in Jewelry Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
Returning to Istanbul in 2017, she immersed herself in the century-old jewelry ateliers of the Grand Bazaar, where craftsmanship and heritage converge. Working closely with master artisans, she shaped the foundations of PACAL, a brand built on balance, precision, and modern refinement.
Today, PACAL stands as a Turkish jewelry brand with a global vision, distinguished by its architectural forms, thoughtful textures, and timeless approach to modern design.
